A Poster Designed for a Show Involving Music, Pencils, Books.

I created this poster to advertise a Music and Comedy show being held at The Montague Bookmill, Aug. 20, 2010. This show has been wonderfully described by John Hodgman, its Master of Ceremonies. Speaking to those of you from the future, I will speak in the past tense and say it featured John Roderick on the Music; David Rees on the Manual Pencil Sharpener, and as mentioned, John Hodgman on the Ceremony Mastering.

I will also assume that this show was as magical as some of our previous efforts at the Montague Bookmill, a place I once worked and is the singular reason I remained in this Pioneer Valley following my tenure at Hampshire College.

To those reading this in the present I currently inhabit, I am afraid the show is already sold out, being that the venue is small and it's performers truly larger than life.
